US VP Kamala Harris has seemingly 'missed the last 150 years of American history'

US Vice President Kamala Harris’ speech saying America should not hide from its past shows she has been “living under a rock," according to former White House staffer Barbara Heineback.

“I was always taught don’t bite the hand that feeds you, her parents came here as immigrants, she has had more opportunity than most Americans get,” Ms Heineback told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“Her parents chose to bring their child up in a country that provides opportunity and it’s as though she’s missed the last 100, 150 years of American history.”
