4D special draw tax collections down by half this year at RM36 million

Tax collection from "special draw" operated by the number betting industry has declined in recent years.

According to the Finance Ministry's written reply to Seremban MP Loke Siew Fook, the amount of taxes collected from "special draw" are as follows:

2019: RM113.29 million

2020: RM72.53 million

2021: (up to Sept): RM36.88 million 4D special draw tax collections down by half this year at RM36 million
