Today our topic of discussion is GRAHAM’s Law of diffusion. As we discuss in our previous topics about the GAS Laws which are BOYLE’S law , CHARLE’S law, AVOGADRO’S law and in this video we will discuss about the last law which is known as GRAHAM’S law of diffusion.
So in this video we will discuss about the definition the GRAHAM’s law and as we discuss in our previous laws about the constants and variables used in the GAS law so we also discuss about the constants and variables used in the Graham’s law of diffusion so we will also discuss about the mathematical form of graham’s law and also apply this law on different gases and find out the relation form these mathematical equations .
We also describe the relation between density and molecular mass at harmony with chemistry
These relations will help all the students to solve a lot of problems regarding regarding all aptitude tests like MDCAT & ECAT also helpful for all FSC students . So after mathematical relation we will discuss about another equation which includes the relation between rate of diffusion and molecular mass through this equation we came to know about the inverse relation between rate of diffusion and molecular mass. So at the last of the topic we will discuss about the Demonstration (explanation) of the graham’s law of diffusion in this explanation we will discuss about the two gases which are HCL and NH3(Ammonia) and also make white fumes from them and proves the law is valid . We also discuss the usage of graham’s law of diffusion.
